"Bluegrass & Beyond" is Jan Reimers on mandolin & vocals with Jeffree White on guitar & vocals.
Expect instrumental and vocal music with different flavors:

• newgrass inspired by David Grisman's "Dawg music",

• traditional bluegrass

• vintage swing

• fiddle tunes

• elegant waltzes from around the world

• Latin rhythms

• classic rock with vocal harmonies

• but especially plenty of lively, hot pickin'!  

The repertoire includes plenty of mellow, elegant instrumental music excellent for background music for dining, receptions, or other events.  Or, on the other end of the spectrum, it can be a yee-haw, high-energy life-of-the-party good time!

They play every Tuesday from 11:30-1:30 at the Huerto Cafe.  Jan Reimers had performed weekly at the Huerto for about a year, featuring several of the area's best talents; he joined forces with newcomer multi-instrumentalist Jeffree White, who founded and led bluegrass collective Train River and gypsy jazz group Hot Club of Hawthorne in Portland, OR.
