What the Funk

Jeffree White (Bluegrass & Beyond, Old Souls, Black Sapphire, Cosmic Marbles) leads a project that is half 

funky jazz -- mostly from the vintage 60s/70s era -- and 

funky vocal rock songs.

The vibe can range from laid-back chill background music, to lively danceable party music.

The vision is to have a loose format that fosters community and allows sit-ins by special guests.

Members can include:

• Jeffree White on guitar, keyboards & vocals;

• Jan Reimers (Bluegrass & Beyond) on electric bass;

• Horacio Salcedo (Cosmic Marbles) on drums;

• Wayne Watson (Rooftop Romeos, Big Bang Band) on trumpet;

• Todd Jones (Rooftop Romeos, Charlie Cook Band) on sax;
